Letter to Congressman MacArthur

Hello Congressman MacArthur,

My name is Jeff Borghoff.  I live in Forked River, NJ in Ocean County.  I’m 52 years old and I have younger-onset / early-stage Alzheimer’s disease.

Since my diagnosis, in March of 2016, I have been working with great fervor in support of the Alzheimer’s Association Greater NJ Chapter with their state and federal committee work and their fund raising events.  I am also a member of the Alzheimer’s Association National Early Stage Advisory Group.

I’m writing you today to introduce myself and let you know I’m looking forward to meeting you in person at the upcoming 2017 Alzheimer’s Association Advocacy Forum the week of March 27-29th in Washington DC on Capitol Hill.

If there is an opportunity before or after the Advocacy Forum in DC I would like to ask if there might be an opportunity for us to meet at your Toms River office to discuss the topics that are near and dear to my heart.  Funding for research and cure, clinical trials, and creating dementia-friendly communities.

Thank you for your time and God bless.
